Our Programs

Whether you're beginning your journey or seeking advanced education, our PSC Training Programs offer a modern approach rooted in the original teachings of Joseph Pilates. Choose the Comprehensive Program for a full certification experience, or the Modular Program to enhance your skills and complete your training at your own pace.

Comprehensive PSC Training Program

PSC based training provides a contemporary, cutting-edge approach to the method developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, one that preserves the essence of the original technique but incorporates today’s knowledge and principals.

PSC Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training at Holly’s Pilates Village has been a staple of the Louisville Pilates community for more than a decade. Our teachers are successful and working in the community - you can find PSC teachers in the best Pilates studios in town.

We approach the material methodically and thoroughly, weaving Functional Anatomy throughout the instruction of Classical Repertoire with Progressive variations. There are 6 different modules available: Pilates Fundamentals and Philosophy, Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Barrels. All six must be taken to become a certified Pilates teacher through the National Pilates Certification Program. Comprehensive training offers the most versatility for employment in nearly any studio.

Modular PSC Training Program

Modular PSC based training classes are for advanced continued education or to fill in gaps in completing your full certification requirements.

In some cases, prospective students are interested in a partial or bridge certification. Perhaps they began their training elsewhere and would like to finish with us. Or a fitness trainer wants to add Mat Pilates to their skills to offer at gyms and fitness clubs. Or that same fitness trainer who already teaches mat would like to teach on equipment as well.

If you are interested in Bridging (updating your full or partial training to PSC quality & standards) with our program, please contact us directly at holly@pilatesvillage.com. We can create a custom program for you that eliminates redundancies on a case by case basis.

For all modular workshops, Pilates Fundamentals and Philosophy and Mat Pilates Teacher Training (or approved equivalent) are prerequisites. From there, any single module is available as a workshop.
